Fellowship

Want to contribute to the growth of the international Politics For Teens nonprofit organization? We are looking for fellows who are passionate about expanding PFT’s reach. As a fellow, you’ll be expected to recruit and engage future chapter presidents for uncharted schools through the establishment of 15 new PFT chapters across a two-month period. Successful completion of this goal may lead to a permanent position on our team.

Process

1

Interview

After submitting an interest form, you’ll be interviewed by a team member. This is to ensure that you’re serious about the fellowship and not just looking to pad your resume. We value passion and commitment over extraordinary skills.

2

Acceptance

If you pass the interview, you’ll receive a congratulatory email inviting you to join
our Slack channel. This is mandatory, and is how we will send out communication.

3

Tenure

We will work with you to create a personalized plan to help you achieve your financial goals.Tenure: Your fellowship will last for two months. During this time, you’re expected to establish 15 new PFT chapters. This means that you might want to reach out to students who are driven to establish a chapter at their respected schools. Don’t worry, we will provide you with materials and training to do this, as well as an interest form!

4

Check-ins

Every two weeks, our fellowship director will check in with you to gauge your progress. There’s no exact benchmark to hit, but we want to ensure you’re on track to meet your goal.

5

Reporting

At the end of your tenure, our fellowship director will compile a report on the fellowship’s output and send it to the executive director. Based on your performance, you may be considered to join the team permanently.
